Performing art is a form of creative activity that is performed in front of an audience, such as drama, music and dance. Performing art can help explain our emotions, expressions and feelings. Performing art may include dance, music, opera, theatre, magic, performance art, recitation and public speaking.

Kala Ashram is an international organization and we focuses on imparting training in the field of kathak along with the various other associated disciplines i.e. vocal, instrumental music and yoga.

From this organization more than 10,000 students passed out. Kala ashram celebrates each and every function enthusiastically in which every student get chance to participate and perform on stage. We also organize state, national and international tours / competition for our students in a year.

Objective

Objective of kala Ashram is imparting training in its traditional way. And the pram Para follows the traditions of the luck now Gharana and imparts training to children as young as three, and adults as old as 60 years in age.

We welcome everyone who wishes to learn kathak. The institution is affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad And Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidhyapeeth, Lucknow. Training includes individual and collective tutorial facilities provided to students. It involves various grades of examination from the elementary to advanced level.

Kala ashram would be run on the guru- shishya Pram Para, leading to a direct interaction of the teacher and the student, making the relation special and personal. Though dance would of course be our main subject for specialization, other closely associated arts i.e. vocal, instrumental and yoga would also be taught. Kala ashram feels the responsibility to guide the young ones towards the right path and imbibe in them some moral values of life. Special care would be taken to help the young ones.
